My Testimony
You may wonder why a Civil Engineer has taken so much interest in his health that he would study the subject to the extent necessary to compose this web site. My interest was awakened seven years ago when I lay in hospital in agony for five days with a kidney stone. After being told by the medical profession that they had no idea what had caused it and what action I should take to prevent it happening again, other than drinking lots of water, I decided to seek out people who I thought may be able to answer those questions. I found them in the natural health industry.

The crunch came two years later however, when I was informed that I had Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia, and given a somewhat similar explanation, viz, that it was terminal but the cause was unknown and there was no known cure. Fortunately, being a chronic form of leukaemia, I had plenty of time up my sleeve to start taking the whole issue much more seriously, which meant a lot of reading and discussions with different types of professionals in the health industry, and a lot of experimentation with homeopathics, fasting, nutrition, diet, Chinese medicine, removing amalgam fillings, gold bridges, root canals, etc.

As a result of my efforts I can now report that my blood test results have improved to such an extent that a laboratory which didn't have knowledge of my previous results could not tell that I had ever had leukaemia. One of my GP's made the statement that I was "in remission". One of the reasons for my excitement about nutritional supplements is that I know they played a big part. I also know that in my case it was my acceptance of Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour that lead me to this answer.

I have also been able to figure out what caused the leukaemia in the first place. About the time that it was estimated I had first contracted the disease, I was in a situation of extreme stress in my job (meaning lots of free radicals being produced), not exercising very much (so not detoxing), eating too much sugar and fats (throwing out the biochemistry of my body, causing acidemia and free calcium excess in particular), having amalgam fillings (causing a build up to toxic metals in my organs) and having a root canal filling (giving my immune system a continuous workload fighting the bacteria). All this was bad enough, but the crunch came when I was given three consecutive doses of antibiotics, getting ever stronger, until my whole immune system was totally knocked out (as evidenced by a mouthful of thrush - excruciatingly painful as many women would know). This was the ideal situation for leukaemia to flourish.
