Selecting a Network Marketing Company
All network marketing companies aren't the same and you shouldn't jump at the first opportunity which comes along without making some attempt to decide which is the best company for you.

All companies provide an opportunity to make money, but the ones marketing nutritional products provide an opportunity to not just make money but to help people regain or retain their health, and this type of company can give great job satisfaction when you see the improvements in health, as well as wealth, that your friends experience.

There are books available where independent analysts have examined the various network marketing companies and come up with their recommendations.

Basically the things to look for are:

• Does the company market unique consumable products? If they are unique then no other company will be selling the same thing, and if they are consumable then the same customers will keep buying more,
• Is the company financially stable? Hundreds of network marketing companies have started up over the years but ended up going into liquidation because they haven't been able to find sufficient capital to get them through rapid growth phases. Companies listed on a stock exchange are ones to look for as their financial affairs are open to public scrutiny.
• Are the promoters of the company men of integrity? There are lots of "entrepreneurs" out there who have been involved in the promotion of all sorts of shady pyramid schemes and the like in the past. If you are a person of integrity be careful who you are involving yourself with.
• Where is the company in its growth phase? Companies which are just starting off are always a bit risky until they have become established in the market place and have demonstrated that they are going to be around for the long haul. On the other hand ones which have been around a long time may have been through their periods of rapid growth and now be in a slower growing mature phase.
• What type of compensation plan do they have for their distributors? There are many different types of compensation plans and you should study the plan in detail before involving yourself in any company. Look for one which seems to be fair to all concerned and which gives all distributors a chance to share in the commission without having to be super salespersons. Many companies in the past have had breakaway systems where people you have fostered as distributors have been separated from your group and you lose the benefit of the work you did with them.
